What is VAULT?

Your own store for digital products — on your server, with no per-sale platform fees.

VAULT is a complete online store for digital products: licence keys, downloads, account credentials and services. It runs on your own server — you own the data, the customer list and the checkout. There is no platform in between taking a cut of every sale.

What VAULT does

  • Four product types: files (downloads with limits and expiry), licence keys (from a pool, each sold exactly once), account credentials, and services (fulfilled by hand).
  • Five payment providers: Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay), PayPal (beta), Mollie, BTCPay and NOWPayments (crypto).
  • Guest checkout: customers buy without an account — and can attach orders later by order number or a verified email address.
  • Discount codes with limits (total and per customer), warranty replacement for faulty keys, fraud screening with a hold queue, webhooks to your own systems.
  • Theme studio: change colours, layout and homepage sections without code. Four themes ship with it.
  • Bilingual storefront (English/German) for your customers; more languages can be added.

What VAULT does not do (yet)

So you know before downloading, not after: subscriptions (recurring billing), a ticket system, Discord role grants, RCON commands and VPN detection are not included. Everything the store cannot do is also named in the README under “Not in this version” — nothing is promised that does not exist.

What you need

  • A Linux server (VPS) with Docker — 2 GB of RAM is comfortable, 1 GB works with swap (the installer offers to set it up). 8 GB of free disk for the first build.
  • A domain pointed at the server — optional but recommended: HTTPS certificates then arrive automatically.
  • About 15 minutes: two commands in a terminal, then a browser wizard walks you through the rest.
